Puerto del Carmen
Puerto del Carmen is the oldest and largest settlement of tourist bustle on Lanzarote. Despite the size of the city colossal hotels, such as on Tenerife and Las Palmas, cannot be found in Puerto del Carmen. Apart from a handful of 4-5 storey hotels there are mainly apartment hotels which allow a quiet holiday. Along the milelong natural beaches, the beach promenade meanders with countless restaurants, bars, pubs, discos and shops of all kinds. The beaches are long, wide and clean. Sun loungers, parasols and pedal boats are offered for rental and the next beach bar is just around the corner (close at hand?). The old port with its narrow streets offers a variety of local fish restaurants and international cosy pubs. At least as international as the visitors are the restaurants in Puerto del Carmen: Chinese, Italian, Greek, Indian, Japanese, German, English and of course Spanish pamper their guests with a variety of dishes and exotic drinks. Costa Teguise
Costa Teguise, heavily influenced by the local artist César Manrique, offers the tourists 5 beautiful sandy beaches on which all year round holidaymakers enjoy the blue sea, the sun and a light breeze blowing constantly. Many pubs and restaurants offer something for every taste. Very popular is the “Pueblo Marinero", designed by César Manrique. In this small place, which is the heart of Costa Teguise, a small market takes place twice a week. Also inspired by César Manrique are many hotels in Costa Teguise, which have a reputation to be among the best in the Canary Islands. Above all, the Gran Meliá Salinas – which was for a very long time the only five-star hotel on Lanzarote. One of the most attractive features of Costa Teguise is its central location. It is only 15-20 minutes away from Arrecife, the islands capital and the same distance from Jameos del Agua and the Cuevas de los Verdes - two of the Islands most beautiful sights.Moreover, it is as close to the old capital Teguise, where each Sunday one of the biggest markets in Europe takes place. Playa Blanca
Where once a fishing village lied in the wasteland, there now stand whitewashed resorts which dazzle the eye. The architecture of the hotels and bungalows is really nice and the lush gardens with thousands of bright red bougainvillea make Playa Blancas appearance very lovely. Playa Blanca is an ideal place for families and seniors. Its advantages are the proximity to the wonderful Papagayo beaches and the many hours of sunshine. The beach promenade, a few meters above the Atlantic Ocean, is the heart of Playa Blanca. Wide - ranging rebuilt as a pedestrian boulevard, it enjoys great popularity with holidaymakers. There is an almost familiar atmosphere at the small beach in the heart of the town, which can accommodate only a few swimmers. Moreover the restaurants and apartments have been limited to two or three floors, so that the house fronts in the old town feature a pleasant scene. To the right of the diving center is the harbour and to the left are the holiday bungalows and Hotels. There are two other beaches you can use: Playa Flamingo and Playa Dorada. RepertoireWe offer our guests 40 daily varied dive sites around the island of Lanzarote. Due to the
landscape of the island, we are able to offer dives from the shore, as well as from the
boat. This gives us the ability to cope with the individual need of our customers.
